LIBRARY POLICIES & GUIDELINES

GENERAL POLICY

Students and faculty should scan their school ID before entering and leaving the library.
Students and faculty are encouraged to utilize online library services (FB page, website or sharepoint) for inquiries
No meeting allowed inside the library, unless with written permission from the library director.
Group discussion is discouraged.
Staying inside the library/librarian’s office without any transaction is prohibited.
Library facilities/equipment are strictly intended for library purposes only.

BORROWING OF BOOKS

The faculty may be borrow at three (3) books at the same time. The books are to be borrowed one (1) week and renewable for another week if no prior reservation was made by another user.
Encyclopedias, periodicals and reference materials are for library used only.
Users are responsible for all items checked out on their library cards.

RETURNING OF BOOKS

Parents/Guardians must place the books in the plastic envelope with the Borrower’s Name and the list of borrowed books.
Books must be placed in the Book Drop box located at the lobby or main entrance of the school.
REMINDERS: Disinfection of books by using liquid disinfectants and direct exposure to sun is PROHIBITED. Let the books stay in the plastic envelope for 1-2 days before using them.

PICK-UP OF BOOKS

Books will be picked-up by the parent/guardian from Mondays to Fridays at 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM and 1:00PM to 4:00 PM.
The parent or guardian must sign the Borrower’s Card.
Social distancing will be strictly observed during the borrowing of books by parent/guardian.
